Somewhere along the way, we realized life gives us countless reasons to celebrate — if we are willing to slow down long enough to notice them.

The big milestones are easy to celebrate. Birthdays, graduations, weddings, new babies, promotions. Those moments naturally gather people together. But over the years, we have learned that some of the most meaningful moments in life are often the quiet ones in between. The moments where someone simply needs encouragement. The weeks that felt impossibly hard but somehow you made it through. The friend who showed up when you needed them most. The dinner table filled with people you love. The reminder that beauty still exists even in difficult seasons.

Flour and Fern was born from a daughter with a dream and a father who has always been her biggest cheerleader. Together that dream has grown into something much deeper than dessert. What started as creating beautiful sweets became a way for us to help people feel seen, loved, celebrated, and connected.

Inspired by floral artistry and the beauty found in everyday life, we create hand-piped floral cupcakes, whimsical cake tacos, cakesicles, curated dessert collections, and sweet experiences designed to help people celebrate life beautifully.

To us, dessert has never just been dessert.

It is showing up at someone’s door because they had a hard week.
It is gathering around the table with people you love.
It is celebrating a tiny win that no one else saw.
It is creating memories your kids will talk about years from now.
It is making ordinary moments feel meaningful.

We believe joy and grief often exist side by side. We believe beauty matters. We believe people deserve to feel celebrated long before they “earn” it. And we believe some of the sweetest moments in life happen when people simply choose to show up for one another.
